help preparing for legend lost sectors

I'm almost light 1800 and wanted to do lost sectors soon. I don't have many exotics I'm pretty new to the game

I play hunter so just any tips and knowing what I need or weapons I should get would help alot

If I can do them without spending a week farming exotics that would be nice if there's any must have exotics I should get I'll give it a try

Graviton forfeit will lean into an Invis Void build and while it will be very safe, it won't be super fast. You can get the quest for it from Ikora

But to be honest, it's mostly about your playstyle than build for Lost sectors specifically.

I do actually have that one. I was trying to do a run with it earlier but the servitors just kept killing me lol

I've been trying to run le monarque and an auto rifle. I think I need to wait for an easy sector maybe

If you can get a chill clip fusion, use that. It lets you not run double primary and can deal with both Overload and Unstoppables

Datto also has a video on his channel on how to deal with champioins. I suggest watching that if you aren't familiar with them yet.

Alright I'll give that a try, for the fusion rifle is there any specific farming method you recommend?

Riptide can be focused at Shaxx and requires no DLC. Deliverance can drop from Vow of the Disciple and is craftable, but requires raiding.

Also how do I get heavy machine guns to deal with barrier enemies. I think I saw one that was useful against them

I'll give riptide a shot, I have all the dlc but I'm not familiar with that raid

You need a specific buff to able to do so. Check the anti-barrier tab in your equipment screen to see any buffs that work. It was likely to be Radiant (Any element), Volatile Rounds (Void), or Unraveling Rounds (Strand)

Riptide is absolutely the chill clip fusion rifle you want. You can get it from Shaxx by focusing it using crucible engrams

to better guarantee getting a good roll, getting one or more full crucible rank resets in BEFORE focusing your engrams will let it drop with extra perks

Thus giving you better odds to get what you want. Chill clip in 4th column is a must, auto-loading or Lead From Gold in the 3rd column are the best options but chill clip is priority
