I have no problem killing ads and staying alive in hard solo content but i never have the dps for the bosses. What do you use?

What is your go to solo dps?

Depends on the situation

#

If the boss is hard to rocket but easy to crit i use the Vow of the Disciple LFR/Leviathan’s Breath

#

If the boss is hard to crit but easy to rocket i use Hothead/Blowout/Apex Predator/Cold Comfort

If the boss is close range, i use Lament or Legend of Acrius

#

OH also solo dungeons and stuff is usually an endurance thing. you’re not usually going to 2-3 phase the newer dungeons

i wouldnt worry unless youre like taking more than 6 phases

do you use any swapping at all like an izi with your rockets or base rocket damage is pretty strong?

plink a dude w witherhoard, spam rocket and repeat till dmg is over

its an eyewatering amount of kills but if you can chain headshots itll be sick

if lament is an option for a boss (you can melee them) is withhoard + beyblade sword better than lament? I saw someone mention that combo somewhere

that’s a combo that COULD work but im not sure if better than lament

esp in the new dungeon, lament heals when u deal dmg w it so itd be really sick for dmg phases where ur taking dmg aswell

only other thing i can think of is what about tlord and sleeper, are they outmatched these days as solo dps weapons?

Sleeper is a great pick

I am not a fan of tlord for dps since i think its only viable for Root of Nightmares

Sleeper retains the old LFR damage values but at the cost of having worse ammo economy than an LFR with Triple Tap or Fourth Time’s The Charm

for example when i solo flawlessed the new dungeon i used Cataclysmic instead of Sleeper because i wanted to use Arbalest

do you have a farming source you like for a triple tap LFR and/or a good rocket?

The LFR i would go for would be the Cataclysmic, which is from Vow of the Disciple

You’re looking for Fourth Time’s The Charm and Bait and Switch

#

other more accessible LFRs would include Taipan (Triple Tap + Focused Fury)

Otherwise you can just use Leviathan’s Breath or Sleeper Simulant if you can’t snag a Cataclysmic for whatever reason

rockets are thankfully easier to come by

Hothead is a legacy focusing item from Vanguard content

Blowout is from the Crucible

#

Apex Predator is from the Last Wish raid

#

and Cold Comfort is from the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon

Hezen Vengeance is also okay, and it’s from Vault of Glass

the key thing here is that these rockets all do NOT have intrinsic tracking baked into them

#

tracking frames (Palmyra, Royal Entry) do 20% less than their non tracking brethren

#

Two-Tailed Fox is a serviceable exotic rocket, but it’s gotten nerfed recently with the jolt changes
