I struggle with boss damage in raids and dungeons

I’ve played a few raids so far and all of them have bad boss damage, is there any good legendary or exotics to use against any boss?

Btw I’m currently using the with queen rocket launcher as my heavy and sometimes use taipan for bosses but want to know what are good heavy weapons to get

And if it’s an exotic, how do you get it?

You have a few options: do loads of strikes for the chance at a good hothead. Do kali when last wish is in raid rotation for the apex predator godroll

For exotic: thunderlord is kinda mid these days but its useable with catalyst sometimes. Legend of acrius is crazy but its hard to get.

For acrius you would need to farm spoils

So… doing the encounters of the latest released raid give spoils of conquest meaning you can farm root of nightmares for the spoils of conquest to buy acrius from the exotic kiosk

Your best bet though is probably running strikes for a hothead

Make sure that you are focusing it and not just opening the engrams.

Not really. You could try to get the riptide from shaxx’s focusing

Its a stasis fusion thats pretty good for secondary dps

Doesnt help your energy slot problem though

Try getting a bug out bag with incandescent and subsistence for your energy if you dont have a calus mini tool

Also, for perks on the hothead, you will want explosive light

Calus mini tool is a legendary smg. One of the best weapons for weaker foes

Incandescent makes enemies explode with solar damage when you kill them, spreading fire damage over time

Subsistence refills your magazine a little bit when you kill things
