I understand I want to at least wear legendary gear focusing on a stat such as recovery, but for example when I watch a video on a build I feel like they wear specific legendary gear or is it just for fashion?

can you give the title of the video you're talking about? can't send links in here. I'm guessing it was just fashion based though. they might be wearing gear with good spikes in the ones they want though

So dungeons and raids give higher stat gear than most other drops. Master dungeons give a special kind of armor that has an extra slot that doesnt cost anything and gives a +5 to any of your stats.

yeah spikes as in "I want to use a lot of grenades in this build, so I should use armor with high discipline stats"

I didn't see anything in either video being specific on their legendary gear, they were just wearing it because it has the numerical stats they want

I have artifice armor but its on my warlock that i rarely use so i forget what it actual gives sometimes lol

they probably aren't going as in-depth about that as you need, about the numerical stats specifically. they give good advice on fragments and mods for the build
