For the past 2 days exotic gear has not been dropping for me from daily lost sectors. Is this a known bug, or has something been implemented that I am unaware of?

Yes, I don' t even have the Exotic icon when hovering over the activity anymore. The only reward listed is enhancement cores.
I have a screenshot of what I can see from hovering over the Lost Sector in Dreaming City.

I got my exotics drop during that as well, enhancement cores are part of the reward.

Oh, then I must've been getting extremely unlucky. But I usually that it listed Exotics as part of the reward when looking at the Lost Sector?

Last season it took me 10ish runs on each character to get the exotics I needed. This season it took less than 5 runs total for all 3 classes. Just rng
Usually it is listed, but that’s not going to have an effect on whether or not you get them. Likely just a text bug
