no, hammers don't apply scorch themselves, but the pools it creates on a kill do scorch if slowly (5/tic I think?)
I don't think radiant boosts hammers, but the aspect can increase ability damage Confirmed, it's just a weapon damage bonus, NOT ability bonus

bonk hammer hits do not apply scorch. radiant does not affect hammers because radiant only affects weapon damage
