Im new to game but i dont understand lost sector and how to do this, i googled it but its confusing. I want the cuirass of the falling if u can help me understand how to get this

Currently its legs, arms will be tomorrow, chest the next day, then helmet, and repeating

Since season of deep, bungie added a QoL. You can see on a planet with lost sector symbol right next to it.
@tiny peak You need to do either legend or master solo for the exotic to drop. There's no other way.

Today is chamber of secrets on the dreaming city. This one is known to have bugs sometimes, but you need to run it through to unlock it, for it to then show up as master/legend, note also you need to be at soft cap of 1750 before you can actually see them as m/l

lost sectors are the 2-arcs-with-a-dot thingy you can find in the map of each planet
you have to find them by yourself go to the location and look around for the same symbol

yeah im soft cap and i am looking in google for the lists for normal sectors but they all say locked legendary so im like how tf do i even do normal if it wont even let me do it, ill try again later

One thing to bear in mind is that lost sectors shouldn't be a go-to place for exotics, they're more designed for more experienced players who are at power level and just want a better roll
To increase your powerlevel you'll get random drops that cap out at 1750, then houll need to do stuff like powerful engrams to get to powerlevel 1800 and then pinnacle engrams to get to 1810
