but lightfall is not good

The content in Lightfall is ok, the campaign is meh, the after-campaign quests are decent, the raid is fun but easy/simple, the seasonal content is alright but waiting til next season will prob be better.
The story is like beyond light level
way better than shadowkeep, way worse than witch queen
If you wait til next season to buy Lightfall you'll get the season 21 season pass instead, and will actually have time to complete it. If you get Lightfall now you won't be able to earn much/any of the season rewards

I’d say either get lightfall deluxe if you plan on playing a lot. Get next season if you just want to play a little or wait until the next dlc and get the deluxe

Next season will cease to be worth the money to buy each individual season
Imo its always worthwhile to get the newest dlc if you plan on playing because you’ll get the most relevant content and you wont get fomo or anything like that
