#Stasis warlock build?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
However, I dont really know where to start with the build so id like to ask what any of you use?
I saw someone with turrets which looks funny but idk what else I could do.
I have enough of the fragments to get a full build and already have a couple so thats not an issue.
As for weapons, the only one I dont really have is conditional finality unfortunately, but I have a chill clip/perpetual riptide as a budget option.
the best stasis warlock build currently is probably osmiomancy stasis turret build
i’ll give you the subclass specifics
abilities: healing rift, glide of your choice, and coldsnap grenade to synergize with osmiomancy gloves
aspects: bleak watcher and glacial harvest
fragments: hedrons, chains, shards, torment
exotic weapons could be verglas curve (season pass exotic) or ager’s scepter. they both pair along nicely with this build
For any normal content (I'm not talking GMs) and for fun, you can just go glacial harvest + iceflare bolts
for armor have a good roll osmiomancy gloves, with a focus on discipline mods for maximum efficiency with turrets and grenade spam
No need for turrets / bleak watcher unless you enjoy the more passive playstyle. The shards from glacial harvest will give you armor charge next season iirc
For GMs or master content, I agree with Shree
yep stasis turret build is great for high end content
also put on grenade focused mods (kickstart, ashes to assets, innervation, and bomber)
to get your grenade back even quicker
One thing though with the fragments, Shree suggested hedrons, chains, shards, torment
the point of this build is to freeze everything as much as possible by grenade spamming and slowing with the turrets
durance imo super strong too, since slow from your freezes last longer
I run rime / chains / conduction / durance. It's preference really, just experiment with it
true but i found those fragments work best for me
Fair, I'm just giving options 🙂 Everyone runs different builds. Glacial harvest is really strong with rime since it heals and gives overshield on pickup
tbh you could also run this build without turrets if you play a bit more aggressive
And don't forget the Raconteur legendary bow can come with archer's tempo and headstone. For GM's I'd still go explosive payload but headstone synergises obviously
you could swap out bleak watcher with iceflare bolts or something
that's what I suggested for non GM / master content
yeah agreed. just have fun and try out the iceflare + harvest and turret + harvest (or even iceflare) combo. make your own build, that's honestly the best part for me about D2
We gave you a starting point, including weapons
true the build flexibility is what makes d2 fun to play
I actually have this one craftable! I’ll put it into my shuro runs tomorrow and get this. I completely forgot about this thing.
I was wanting to try out turrets so I’ll start with this ^
Appreciate it.
👍🏼
Only really played hunter before so I haven’t messed with anything beyond well skating with the simple starfire lol
Yeah it's one of my favourite legendary bows. Crafting it with archer's tempo + explosive head makes it viable for all subclasses + builds, if you're keen you can do a second one with acher's + headstone
and put elastic string + draw time MW on it so you get the draw time as low as possible
stasis turrets are kinda boring in low end content
just run osmiomancy and literally any 2 aspects
but for gms you want a tighter aspect pick
I’m mostly worried for gms, as I’m starting to get tired of the typical aeons hunter and wanted to try out warlock.
I’m fine with playing passive as that’s sorta what you have to do regardless with gms.
Otherwise I figured it would be sorta whatever I wanted for low tier.
it’s better to play passive in gms even if you have a solid build
that’s why i would say turrets are better in high end content where you should play more passively
ye
no
warlock is so fun and good at playing agressive
but the true king of agression is titan
warlocks are good at ranged aggression
titans just bonk things face to face
and eat crayons
anyways if you're a pvp guy just slap on frostpulse
Turrets seem funny regardless so I made that build
and a special funny weapon you'll have to dm me for cuz i got flamed for using it
havent taken it into a gm as I need to get higher stat armor first
so I need to go grind defiant engrams 💀
@wind palm are you looking more for pve builds or pvp
ah so no funny pvp shenanigans
if you have osmiomancy it's always a solid backup pick
infinite turrets and freezes are a nightmare to champions
ager's scepter pairs really nicely with shadebinder, simply becuase in pve the super is bad outside of a couple cheese scenarios
with the catalyst on ager's, you melt literally everything no matter what
and if you have a certain build, you can have the catalyst for ager's always active
because your super recharges insanely fast
but i'm not sure if the build works anymore, because I think it relied on elemental wells
dont have it unfortunately
I started with lightfall
ah i see
why don't you dm me and we can talk without cooldowns if you want
i main shadebinder very hard
sure
unfortunately winter’s wrath damage is really bad
in pve
it’s nice that it’s getting a 10% increase in damage in pve with s21 but it should be like 25%
