Titan is 1804 done everything possible for weekly. To get my hunter up to 1804 and then do the weekly pinnacle on this what’s best? 1/2

Do I go to xur get the armour oiece for the hunter then transfer this and best weapons over then complete an activity til 1804 then do weekly pinnacles? 2/2
If so what is the best activity to grind out the gear to get to the same light as my titan?

After I got my warlock above 1800 when lightfall came out, I did the legendary campaign on my other characters and the drops from those chests got me up to 1800.
They must be treated as powerful drops, and I didn’t even end up needing the bundles from nimbus. Might not have to even do the entire campaign, but you’ll get the exotic at the end for the other classes.

One thing i did that sorta worked was i moved the weapons from my titan to my hunter and then went to shaxx. He sells armor. You buy one set, put it on and then the next set is higher light. Do this over and over
This only works if you have an excess of vendor engrams so play pvp. Also it has diminishing returns so the more sets you buy the less useful they will be.
