#help with PVP

play the game more and play closely with ur team
as for weapons and builds just look them up on youtube
also watch other people play the game
is it your aiming or other problems
Lots of practice and building up intuition about the game. Having transferable skills from other fps games helps alot
that and movement, don't really have much mouse space so it's sometimes hard to stay on target
@slow ridge also i do have a rather low amount of weapons i can even use for pvp
so i often get stuck using pve guns
I wouldn't say it's good
but the Title smg from this year's guardian games is easy to get
and has some decent rolls. Specifically: perpetual and rangefinder
SMGs are in general easier to aim than some things like hc's, so your aim might feel better. slap on targeting adjuster and targeting mods too
movement: I would just recommend sticking with your team like observer says. strength in numbers. as for the space... either find a larger space or increase or sensitivity or something...
wouldn't recommend the latter heavily since it makes aiming harder but do what you have to
noted
appreciate the help 👍
matador from ogre
just get LITERALLY any roll
and no time to explain
heard it was quite good, i'll see if i can bump out some dungeons and get one
I used to be a .7 player but i’ve brought myself up to a ~1.2 here are some tips that i’ve learned in that time:
If you use shotgun, always melee right after, no matter what.
If you use hc, use cover heavily (peek shooting) and play life over kills.
If you use smg, crouch spam will win you 1v1’s on the ground but jumping will kill you more often than not.
If you use bow, pulse, scout or snipe, your best spot is back of the map and be aware of your surroundings. Dont let people flank you, use your movement to run away.
Apeing only works 50% of the time learn the range of your shotguns and wait for apes to push you.
Pvp should be fast but starting out slow should be a priority until you gain a good sense of your skill. Pace shots to hit heads. Learn the feeling slow and over time it will get faster.
Make a friend who is willing to spend hours in private matches just practicing 1v1’s, especially if they’re better than you.
The harder they trash you, the more you have to learn.
Learn the meta and try not to feel bad for the enemy. Playing meta is scummy sometimes, but your enemy will use it without a second thought, so why should you.
I think i already said this but play your life. Even if you cant manage to get that one last shot in, your life is more important than getting kills, you cant get kills if you’re dead.
damn. appreciate the help
np take my words with a grain of salt tho
