i haven’t raided in a really long time and would like to know which raids are good for beginners

RoN, super easy, mostly ad clear as well

no

#

DONT do ron

#

the point of raids are mechanics not ad clear

#

as a newbie my favorite encounter must have been totems because I actually felt like I was doing something compared to add clear

#

all of them are good to do i would personally avoid VOG and RON

#

though garden is a good raid for beginners

I suggest Deep Stone Crypt. I would say it's about medium in difficulty and has good loot. I feel like RoN misrepresents the difficulty in raids because it has very simple mechanics.

yeah

#

if you wanna do RON might as well do a dungeon

#

the reason i’d recommend it though it getting used to a 6 man like dungeon

#

that’s basically the easiest you could go without going more complex

otherwise garden or deepstone yea would be the easiest (actual mechanic wise)

#

true, i can see that point

#

like if you want to get someone into raiding you dont put them on add clear

#

true

#

and getting put on ad clear makes you fear for not being ad clear in the future

#

its why i hated golgoroth

#

until i actually did gaze and learned how the encounter worked

#

same thing with caretaker

#

i did ad clear and didnt actually like it until i did the real mechanics

plush heron
#

me as well, i’d always stun or ad and when i finally had to run, it wasn’t hard and i like running now

#

doing mechanics are definitely what makes a raid worth it, especially with some homies

exotic dagger
#

which is why i said to do garden

personally do vow, it is technically one of the harder raids but if you stay to the simpler rolesfor each encounter and find a good team to run it with, it's my fav beginner raid (kf is good too)

Since you probably are inexperienced in the raids, being absent a long time just start from the older ones to the newer ones. Find a Sherpa and do all of them, see which one you like and which one you don’t

#

Some of them will be more mechanically demanding and require everyone do something and others will be less demanding .

#

If you want a challenge vow and last wish are probably the two most demanding in terms of players/ mechanics involvement and both have great loot drops

#

If you want something intermediate then kings fall, vault of glass, deep stone crypt, Crota’s end and garden of salvation are ideal

#

And like the others have already mentioned Root of nightmares is just an clear raid for the most part

#

Unless you do plates at macrocosm
