What adept weapons are you referring to?
For raid weapons, usually not. A crafted version of the gun will give you 98% of the effect for 30% the effort
Heavy weapon adept weapons are good for adept big ones, but that isn't make or break by any means.
If you are referring to nightfall weapons, then if you are confident in doing GMs I would only go for adepts, mainly because they are garunteed drops from platinum clears with extra perks

Raids: the new RoN weapons could be decent with a solid roll, esp. because you can enhance them. Hezen Vengeance (timelost) w/overflow is good, Cataclysmic is great but honestly just craft it

i'd say overflow and quick launch for the other two
but really anything works
the main upside to hezen is that it pairs so nicely with starfire

This is also not true. Hezen is used in triple swap rotations (see Xemo’s solo spire speedrun wr persys kill).
Hezen is also great for dragons shadow rotations since you can do quad rocket instead of triple rocket (load 2 in the chamber with overflow, then swap to alh)

Those aren’t the best damage perks though
Vorpal is 10%, Cluster is ~8% iirc, and Lasting can be inconsistent

Cluster varies heavily based on what you’re shooting at, but if it’s something like oryx you’ll hit all clusters so it’s the best dmg perk there
