Personally love
Arrowhead, High Cal, Rewind, Frenzy
can add counter for 100 recoil, high cal flinch, rewind for deeper reserves, frenzy for damage/reload and handling at 100 when procced.
Paracausal is more damage (20 vs 15 frenzy) but no bonus to reload/handling
can also go with demo for 3rd slot but I like rewind for less time spent reloading esp while frenzy is inactive
adrenaline demo is also a decent combo imo as they go together well and have a higher damage ceiling at 33.3%
why not recon? also is target lock as busted as they say it is , i feel like I'm not really going to be shooting chunkier targets with a primary, but in grandmaster most targets are beefier in general
recon is very passive, takes time while it's NOT being used, primarys are just that, primary so there isn't a lot of time for recon to overload the mag often enough to be useful
GREAT for heavy/burst, bad for high activity weapons
true, target lock may be better for higher tier content where hp pools are larger, but ARs may not have enough range for consistency
might have to see how ricochet rounds feel if that helps at range for more consistent hits
issue with target lock is you cannot stop firing and cannot miss, otherwise the damage drops back to base. Good if you can be consistent on 1 target (some boss DPS phases) less good on mobile enemies
I found that frenzy was VERY snappy once procced, and it generally stayed procced in high tier content pretty reliably
snappy with the handling/reload buffs bringing it to 100 in both catagories
have to see about paracausal affinity tho
adrenaline 6.7-13.3-20-26.6-33.3%/4.5s(6s enhanced)```adrenaline takes a bit more to warm up, but enhanced is only 1s less time but 13.3% more damage
in higher content it may be better as kills are fewer and farther between
it does do more dmg, but most of the time I'm using this with strand, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to use it to its full potential
mostly depends on how quickly you can get a kill and chain kills
faster than 4s then adrenaline better
longer than 4s then paracausal better
with the current state of primaries in pve, i think im just going to stick with paracausal
but its perk explanation is extremely vague tho
+20% for 6s (7s enhanced)
can be procced by ANY dark damage kill (weapons, abilities, etc)
so if i kill osmething with rufus that would proc it. Sounds kinda op getting a 20 percent buff from just one kill
