My join code doesn't work at all if someone isnt a friend, like does not even error out. I have everything set to public it just does not work at all. Is there any way to fix this?

Check your net code in gameplay menu if is open or moderate at least, I had some issues before checking the ports for destiny, mine now is moderate and I have no issues anymore
