yes, unfortunately it can take upto 10 or 20 runs before something drops but most ive ever had to do is 7 with no drops. they drop what you dont have first.

I see, is there a list of the exotics you can get from the sectors anywhere?

I assume that if I don't have any expansions beyond shadowkeep I can get no exotics, right?

All the ones on the list I found are from beyond light onward
