I currently run double special on all my builds, but i’m wondering with the new auto rifle buff if a demo hatchling rufus would be worth running on my strand hunter instead? lmk your thoughts

in seasonal content and the strike playlist, sure it's fine. hatchling for a hunter specifically? threadlings are already kind of weak even on warlock that can really build into them.

You're probably better off sticking to double special

I haven't used it in GMs or master raids, but in something like legend Avalon it again felt fine. of course, the awoken favors in that activity help with the grenades but I don't think I picked up too many

the artifact perks right now really help it too, destroying a tangle with a strand weapon does more damage, spawns threadlings, and suspends nearby enemies.

in most normal raids and maybe even up to legend or master difficulty in things like the campaign missions, it will likely be okay. anything beyond that and the threadlings really start to lack the damage
