Can anyone confirm this sword drops in Lightfall? I've done 70+ completions this season along with using coins on Paraversal Hauls for extra Treasure Keys and no luck so far. I know its rare, but dang.

Just a rare drop

took me like 6 months of doing it casually to get one, with the first 3 months being a super grind doing the forerunner catalyst at the same time

its a chance, but you will only need 1 red border for it to unlock the pattern

Do legend dares, ur first 1 a week gives red border, and it will give you the weapon you have the least progress for. so i think that if you have 1 pattern progress for every other dares weapon you’ll be guaranteed it

unless they changed the protection with LF but i dont think they did cuz it worked for me recently

The other half is the one one that won’t drop from that, as they wanted to keep it rare. It can only drop red border from the treasure hoard chest.

I got one as my powerful drop or maybe as the end reward back during plunder and it had no red border, later got one at the treasure hoard and it was

I mean I got the red border from legend dares? Maybe it doesnt have protection but can still drop

Googled it yeah the guarantee doesnt apply to the other half mb. But you can get it from the activity

Yeah it won’t be part of the bad luck protection pool, I’d have to recheck the twab but I believe they said it there.

The first other half you acquire after Season of Plunder will be a red bordered one

#

You can get them as an exceedingly rare drop from dares, or as a slightly less rare drop from Xur rank-ups

Dang, I guess I am just unlucky. I have 3+ patterns for every dare weapon, so maybe I will get lucky with my weekly legend. If it drops from the key chest, I have no clue how I dont already have it.
