the ones I'm going to mention are not applicable to new lights, GMs raids, and several other activies can give a lot of exotics

yea I def get most of mine from GMs by FAR

every exotic armor piece from Vanilla-forsaken can be unlocked by any means
shadowkeep exotics you must beat the campaign first
but every other exotic after shadowkeep you have to unlock it first by lost sectors, then it will be obtainable from all sources
