Strand if you’re struggling with his knockback but if not Solar is always a safe bet

I tried using wither, trace and linear but vol rounds were failing to proc from harpys. So only doing small damage per a phase

i reran a solo last night ended up using sleeper as it was seeming to do the best for me but i was on hunter. went through void, solar and arc subclasses mid encounter

if you can save 2 loadouts, 1 with weapon surges for dps and 1 for health regen when you pick up orbs

hotswap to the one with surges when dps comes (i just rocked with surges the entire time)

trace rifle is a huge one. You will 9/10 times run out of special ammo if you do not have hollowed denial from s17 with lead from gold

run boss spec for the eyes, again you can just slap the mod onto your dps loadout

before dps make sure you get surges and make sure you also have time dilation

Run double special, you’ll be chilling on ammo.

If it’s a fusion nade dps build, hoard w/ trace (hollowed, acasias) and a rocket or linear is a solid combo

for fragments and exotic. Before lightfall i ran karnstein armlets, the melee kill regen was insane and made you unkillable.

However with the new fragments in lightfall starfire gives you a ton of recovery and doesnt have that much risk

(rockets are bad dont run them for the first boss)

Oh yes sorry I should have clarified, linear for first, rocket for last

resolve for grenade final blows which give you cure you will be doing that a lot

searing to make firesprites (mostly getting them from grenade kills)

and mercy just gets you back to full hp when getting a firesprite

for dps i ran witherhoard trace rifle and bait and switch cata

i shot witherhoard threw a nade and i stayed in the well and crouched down

#

and just shot all the shots i could with cataclysmic

idk why people get closer to the boss there may be some hidden tech but i am not sure
