I was using light.gg for rolls but recently found out it is not very good. How can I learn what is good on which weapons? I'm feeling a bit lost on which rolls or weapons are good right now,

I generally look up the weapon on Gunsmith and see what options it has and then just see what looks best for me and my playstyle

#

for example I don't PvP so anything related to that is meh to me (even if another site says it's fire)

Generally for PvE you want a damage perk and a reload perk. There's plenty of decent rolls that aren't the absolute best for weapons

a reload perk is too strict i would say a utility perk which helps in either completely remove the need of a reload or aid in faster reload

Sorry I should have clarified in post, I'm looking for pvp rolls right now, I know what's decent-ish in pve.

same rules imo, check what options, see what works for your playstyle

it seems like there's nothing consistent for meta in crucible and im having a rough time in comp, and no access to immortal yet

for pvp it depends on the gamemode in my opinion, for quickplay you can have a consistency perk and a dmg perk but for 3v3s i would say you should look for consistency all the way

yeah mainly looking for 3v3 rolls i guess as comp and trials is my main preferred modes

just took a 3 year break and kinda lost and just heard rangefinder is getting a nerf really soon so no idea what to look for anymore

i've heard its getting the extra zoom removed but then don't know what they would change about it

#

as long as it works without needing a kill it will be good

There is often more than one good roll for most weapons and it also depends on your preference
