I've done Master difficulty a fair amount of times but haven't done a GM yet, how do they compare difficulty wise? Any advice before I do my first?

Since they added the new powercaps with Lightfall, master (-20) and grandmaster (-25) arent too far apart

you know the gm rotation is bad in season when proving grounds is the easiest gm

for proving grounds skyburners oath can be pretty useful and other than a solar warlock or an invis hunter are great for any gm

Starfire warlock, 1invis aeon hunter and a hubter/titan strand is good for all gms

Arms isnt the fastest, longer than before and the boss is health gated

If you've done plenty of Master nightfalls, it's not too bad. The only main difference is the limited revives and how you can res yourself, so if you play safer you're probably fine.

Imo proving grounds is easier but it is what it is(i hate threshersHmm )

In all honesty. A lot of subclasses are good for GMs - stasis turret warlock, void titan with bubble and overshields, omni void hunter, strand titan / warlock with osteo

#

Anything that supports, controls adds and champs

The only GM I hated was mars BG, and I'd say it's the hardest one but there is a cheese on the last boss apparently

You'll be fine. Just play slow, have a good build / loadout and two decent teammates
