GM rotation in lightfall?

how does grandmaster rotation work in lightfall?
like, i see all GM's have the same elemental surges, does this change next week?

if you have access to the GM playlist, do you keep access for the rest of the season?
aside from triumphs, why wouldn't you just do the easiest GM?
like, does the featured GM give you anything better?
