I already have my builds pretty well made so I don't need to masterwork them. Is there a way to turn them into masterwork cores efficiently or like is there a vendor item that I should buy in order to use some

use 3 to masterwork a trash exotic, can break down later for +1, not a great return but better than nothing (I have about 20 of these)

alternatively, make a build and masterwork it all in one go (with exotic is prob 6 used)

masterwork all of your exotics you never know when bungie might buff something and then you'll have to farm for it again
