so what's the hype been about striga? between the bullet travel time and imo lackluster dmg, not worth it

kinda like ppl have been saying "its sooo op" but I dont think so, like I much prefer wishender cause infinite ammo, heavy damage, one to two shot on orange and above bars

it does pretty good damage over other smg's but it really shines when you pair it with exotic like necrotic grips on warlock

^ Necrotic grips work with a bunch of different poison effects (Monarque, Striga, etc.)

Datto made a video on it specifically for suspend warlock, which is prolly driving a bit of the buzz

I agree, the look is great. but I mean I like the mechanics just cause i usually do 20 to 25k damage per hit on tougher enemies, more on weaker

For closer range add clear content, Osteo has significantly more potential, plus the poison kills (if you allow it) will overflow the mag.

Wishender is better at long range content where you want to chunk single targets from a safer distance.

perfect example is planets encounter in RoN. Wishender may 1 shot nearly any single mob in the room, but Osteo will shred groups at a time with the poison

compare that to something like the latest nightfall, where you're dealing with more beefy targets, and no real clumps of enemies where wishender is superior

Striga is extremely good for high end content since you have constant damage uptime and ad clear and range without the need to be exposed. Damage ramps up but I believe the duration has been nerfed recently

also, Osteo is a heavy ammo making machine. If you have a heavy finder and a scout you'll keep everyone topped off easily

Osteo striga is a top tier ad clearing gun that also does extra boss dps and has a bug that make s the poison dmg go forever if yi7 have a vorpal weapon equipped

wishender is a garbage gun in this meta, arbalest is so much better since your never out of ammo

osteo is so good because of the crowd control which no other primary van do

if witherhoard didnt exist it would be the next best thing

Don't forget osteo currently has a bug that makes its poison tick infinitely if you swap to a weapon with vorpal
