The soft cap is 1750, you can do Legendary Campaign to get 1770.
You need Powerful Gear/Engrams to get 1800
Then Pinnacle Gear/Engrams to get 1810.

For Modes, you will see yellow challenge stars on activities that will reward you with Powerful/Pinnacle Gear.

#

Always do Powerful rewards before Pinnacle if you are under 1800
