Is the dungeon farmable? I am trying to get the hat and I wonder if you can just farm the boss or ascent.

yes it's farmable.
Depending on class
Ascent is super easy to farm for Titan/Warlock Hat
Hunters gotta farm one of the bosses

#

Special note: Artifice armor does not give transmogs do if you're looking for that, make sure to farm normal (ask me how I know)

hunter u can get from both bosses

not sure about first encounter tho

unless master has different loot tables then i can only confirm that it can drop from first boss

The Climb drops helms (titans/warlocks cowboy hat)
Second boss drops class item (hunter cowboy hat)
Final boss can drop any armor

buddy got a hat (on master so artifice) and couldn't transmog it
