you shouldn't need to be on the same class, I got all of mine playing warlock. however, a change coming with the mid season patch will allow you to buy the patterns for materials.

I believe they are still obtainable outside of the evidence board, but that's a guaranteed way to get them if you get sick of grinding wellspring.

I can interact w/ the evidence board, but it requires cyphers, and forget that lol
