is the unraveling rounds artifact perk broken? using the adept raid sidearm and it isn't procing

I haven’t used the adept yet, but the normal sidearm, immortal smg, and both autos have worked fine for me.

Do you have the anti barrier sidearm mod on already? I can’t remember if I did when I was using it, so it might not interact.
