Raid Exotic Question

I just wanted to ask if you need to play a Raid from beginning to end to get the raid exotic or could you just defeat the boss and have the chance to get it?

I believe the best chance is from front the back. Full compleat

You can just defeat the boss. For the drop, no increases or decrease in chance for doing a full run. The game just looks at that encounter.

Most, if not all, of my raid exotic drops have come from checkpoints.

Final boss farm when raid is in rotation is the most efficient way of getting the exotic

the only raid exotic in the game that is currently unobtainable from just the final boss is divinity

for every exotic you just have to clear the final boss

you can only increase the chance for conditional finality for doing the triumphs
