There’s your problem
Your using ace is pve and your exotic is for pvp
A better weapon would be something like witherhoard
Exotic maybe star eater or something
Since your struggling you should use void so you can go invis and stay alive

Well, I mean firefly works wonders for crowds, I'm not too much of a pvp guy, mainly jerk around with buddies on cruible 1v1, but I do seeing it falling flat against bosses like calus

There aren’t really crowds in the boss room
Plus there are better firefly weapons than ace
But if you wanna clear the boss you need to have damage dealing stuff to deal with tormentors
And you also need to survive so that’s why void is a good option
