I’ve never done a raid or dungeon before. What’s the best one to start with and is there a certain way to prepare?

Root of nightmares might be one of the easier raids to start with because it's lighter on mechanics than other raids. Vog is also good for being beginner friendly but still having mechanics

VOG and Prophecy/ Shattered throne are the easier raids and dungeons to start with. They have some mechanics but there’s almost no callouts and it’s simple

I would start by watching YouTube guides on the raids you want to run. Collect your loadout based on that info (probs rocket launcher or thunderlord for heavy at current)

Whenever you get into a group, it's ideal if you can speak on voice chat. Don't be afraid to ask questions. People will teach you if you want to learn

The easiest starter raid is DSC because as long as you have parasite and a half-decent linear you won’t fail the damage checks, and most of the raid can essentially be trioed

#

Like RoN 3rd you have to have pretty good game sense and callouts to not wipe, DSC 3rd I’ve had 2 people be afk and the encounter mechanically does not change in the slightest

Remember that in raids, teammates can't be revived infinitely. Staying alive is more important than doing damage

Not really much of a concern

#

More often than not, new players flop damage checks because they aren’t used to the way raid dps phases work

Staying alive is also a joke with the insane addclear guns that we have these days
