I have been trying to do legend lost sectors for the first time and I am encountering a problem where it doesn't want to show up where the spreadsheets online say they are supposed to be.

I figured maybe it was because I'd never cleared the OG lost sector so I did that and yet it is still not spawning. Any ideas?

once you run the LS for the first time, either run back to the enterance or tp and run back to it
if its the today's lost sector, it should have a rally like flag next to it, which will allow you to start it at legend/master level

I've done all that and it still doesn't show up. I've checked 3 different sites to make sure I'm doing the right one. Still nothing. In order to "complete the lost sector" do I need
to kill all the mobs or just the boss and the chest?

For legend I’d suggest 1790+

I would recommend clearing every lost sector in the game
for the future
they are pretty fun to do
