Should only take mabye a day of playing to reach powerful cap, if that.

It's a 6-player matchmade activity, plenty of enemies to chance drop engrams. Enough exp to get battle pass levels etc. But it is in eternity and will give you good gear at the end.

If you end up getting lightfall if your confident try doing legendary campaign as it gives you a full set of 1770 gear

I'd recommend just playing all the new modes and having fun first. Don't worry about grinding until you have a good idea of what you like and don't like
