Completing the quests that require you to get kills with vexcalibur from the war table enable you to get the catalysts from legend Avalon

Like this week was do Avalon, return to war table. After I did that, my next legend Avalon rewarded a catalyst.

Can’t remember the steps of the previous two week, but it should be the same. Doing the “secrets” in the mission might also be a factor.
