I need someone to explain to me the hype of The Immortal

I got a godroll adept one with rangefinder and target lock. But it feels SO horrible to use. I do not get the hype at all and I have no success with it. I am so lost.

If you have the max range roll you reach upto 24m which is very good for smgs

And its a 750 rpm which has very good base ttk

And target lock is very strong because it’s activation depends on the bullets in the mag

So to get the x1 buff you need to spend 12% of the mag which is 5 for the immortal

Which alters your ttk from .77 to .67 which is the fastest primary ttk in the game

And you pretty much get it for free as target lock isn’t a kill based perk

Put on the right origin trait and make sure you have on adept range + Range MW

Although personally I MUCH prefer ikelos

It takes time to get used to it. Do you have the strand targeting mods etc on? (it doesn't count as kinetic) Stability is also a factor, tbh. More stability will feel better than a max range at the cost of stability.

But idk...use the weapons you're good at and like. Frostbolt still runs empirical evidence in a lot of his streams.

yea i tried with the full strand setup

i just do not like using the gun even though i got a super lucky roll

just one of those things i guess
