what weapons are good for dps for new d2 players

just wondering since i just got into the game again after like 5 years

Crafted Taipan 4FR

You get the recipe from a quest at the enclave after doing the first mission of Witch Queen (which is free)

The current meta is linears and rockets for dps

Linears for high total damage and great ammo economy, rockets have far higher dps but run out of ammo fast

If you want more advice, I’d need more info on your class and what dlcs you have

i wanna do vog but i dont know what power level i should be before getting a raid team

is gjallarhorn any good

Cata is still great for longer dps phases or master raids

Rockets are still better but a lot of them are harder to get

But in D2 it’s arguably one of the easiest raids, assuming you have half-decent gear

Just trying to get a sense of what you’d need to run vog or some of the other raids

Triple tap and firing line

You’ll need to level it a ways, just wear it around activities for a while, you’ll get it decently fast

Barrel doesn’t matter I guess recoil reduction

You want a large mag so enhanced battery (whatever the one that gives more mag without lowering reload speed)

For the mod, you want boss spec
