Is it worth getting the witch queen dungeon key? Or does witch queen include a dungeon key?

Im asking because i see you can farm artifice gear (not as strong anymore) but you also get ascendant shards which i am VERY interessted in.

If ascendant shards are your absolute main goal, I don’t think they are worth it just for that. Nightfalls are a much better game to farm that specific material.
