Just need to beat any one for an achievement. I don't want myself to be such a burden that I can't even be efficient.

they don't launch until april 11th so you have some time to prep. I would hit 1815 power which I think is maximum effectiveness. Maybe watch some old videos of the strikes from this season in rotation.
I haven't done the new version of arms dealer yet, but that or lake of shadows will probably be easier ones to complete out of the 6.
If on warlock, a well of radiance is always appreciated. if on hunter, invisibility can be your friend for staying alive and getting revives. if on titan, maybe bubble for team play or lorely for your own survivability
otherwise, make sure you have ways of stunning the champions in the strike and just play safe, it's usually a marathon not a sprint

Gm’s recommended light is pinnacle cap + 15 so it should be 1825 recommend
You can do gms even with 40 light under but the gms this season are pretty hard

They changed that with last season, effective power is capped at 1815. Listed in their “bringing challenge back to destiny” post.
