I am pretty new with destiny and i don't know how normal lost sectors work. I played a few on EDZ and those are greyed out for a while now. Do these lost sector get reset?

they don't get reset, greyed out just means you cleared it once already

From what I know there is legendary lost sectors to
the legendary lost sector of the day can only be accessed if you already beat that lost sector before, hence the greyed out thingie
