Returning/New light

Last played just before beyond light, have dlc but lightfall, need help on what to do

Im lost but still adjusting to the new subclasses, new weapons, armor raids and just overall content

I want to know what to do, i have done all of the campaign missions besides lightfall which i dont have, and have caught of on vaulted Quest's

I'm wondering until i get lightfall should i just grind to get all of the exotics or should i do something else
