I am stuck at 1770 right now. Been grinding out pinnacles. Doing Legendary Lightfall, and still getting almost nothing that helps increase my level

1750 is where you stop getting better item

Then you need to do challenges which are marked as powerful or pinnacle gear drops

Try destinyoptimizer.com it actually suggests what is recommended in order to increase power level for each of your characters. Highly recommend!

okay because of the horrible message limitations, I'll have to split this into like 6 messages, so bare with me for a moment whilst I explain it all

#

Make sure you have 3 characters at 1770; just do the legendary campaign on everything for it, farm it to 1780 via nightfalls, public events, what have you

#

Pick 1 character & 3 guns (1 primary, 1 energy, 1 heavy) to "main"

#

Use DIM to make sure all of your item slots are 1780+, if not, farm public events for it

#

Once everything is 1780+, put your chosen guns onto a chracter that is not your main, do every single powerful you have

#

Repeat this process on character 2, then finally your "main" character

#

double back to the first character, still transfering the same 3 guns you chose, repeat the powerful process with your pinnacles (making sure everything is the same level via DIM)

The way to check if everything is on level, on DIM under your character banner, there's 2 values, 1 is your maximum possible power (left) and your level breakdown (right), hover over the right number
