So I hardly have any of the weapon patterns and don't really have the most time to play the game I was wondering what is the best farm for weapon patterns

Specifically for this season:
-Neomuna Weapons: Heroic Patrols/engeams from Nimbus (lvl 30 needed)
-Seasonal Weapons: Playing the seasonal content, saving up engrams.

Spend the engrams when you get the ability to get one guaranteed red border/week (upgrade from the War Table). Should unlock next week.
