I took a break, leaving at the start of Season of the Seraph, and wanted to know whether Lightfall, and the Deluxe Addition were worth the trouble. What are some pros and cons?

It's really not worth the cash so far in comparison to WQ
You can ask 5 different people and 5 people will tell you a different thing, but the story is absolute mumbo jumbo and the season pretty underwhelming so far in comparison
The raid was cool but quite short / easy VS vow or kings fall etc
Some QOL changes really don't make up for what they gave us so far. I would suggest going for the normal edition.

pros: massive spectacle, amazing subclass, cool exotics lots of post campaign content, really interesting lore, decent challenge, lots of subclass empowerment gameplay and beautiful location.
part 2 is wayyy too long hold on
two whole missions are strand tutorials and you do not unlock or customize it until after the campaign. strand outside the campaign may feel like it's cooldowns are too long
other criticisms are def addressed

I'm judging it based off the content we have now. I simply think WQ was better in every possible way. 😉
