sup I found out that I can get any exotic from the exotic archive, what would y‘all recommend? I mainly need a normal gun to shoot with, nothing like a glaive or grenade launcher

red war exotics - sleeper stimulant does quite a damage (from these exotics i highly recommend outbreak perfected - good for pve and pvp as well)
forsaken - le monarque for sure, ace of spades is good for pvp but it can be used in pve, maybe jotunn or bad juju
shadowkeep - you must have witherhoard (although it is grenade launcher but you just MUST) and i dont have other so i cant make my own opinion
beyond light - lorentz driver is kinda nice, ager scepter and cryosthesia are goo for stasis subclass, ticuus divination might be good but i dont use it much
wq - delicate tomb synergizes with arc warlock, grand overture does a damage and the other two i d use in pvp only
AND no you cant get any exotic from the archive, only those that are already there and were released in expansion you own.
there are plenty of exotics out of the archive but if i were you i d watch some vidoes on yt about every exotic weapon so you can make yourself an objective opinion on each of them
