Is Lightfall worth it?

I've considered getting it but due to all the negativity surrounding the story and content, I am hesitant to get either edition. Looking for advice

It’s not bad, people are just always going to complain, tbh i didn’t even expect the reviews to be that bad

campaign is okay, but simply for the content you get to play it’s worth it anyway, bc alternative is to not get it and basically be forced to not be able to do all the stuff everyone else is doing

The negativity surrounding lightfall comes almost entirely from the lackluster story that didnt exactly meet the standards that it hyped itself up to. If you want my opinion, I think strand is incredibly fun. The campaign is horribly bad from a lore lover standpoint but gameplay wise it plays fine. The content loop on Neomuna isn't anything different than you wouldve experience in witch queen and savathun-

with the main focus being patrol, public event, quest a little, escalation type activity to get your reputation up. As far as loot to chase theres a couple exotics, ive gotten my hands on 2 so far and theyre... okay. nothing to write home about. the Legendary gear lineup is pretty weak, most of it is just reskins but what isnt nowadays

As far as whether or not its worth 50$, thats gonna come down to your personal judgement and what you think you can get out of it. Now me personally, ill get at least as much time out of playing the campaign with my buddies as I would a movie so that alone warranted the price for me but thats gonna be a different story for everyone

TLDR, I am having fun with it but im just a random on the internet so watch some reviews from youtubers or something and make your judgement then.
