To be sure, clicking "x" doesnt exit steam, you actually fully closed it?

yes when i start it, destiny 2 appears for like 15seconds, then closes independently and the steam error appears

Oh even after a restart, seems like a more complex problem then. If it starts running but closes I'd suspect maybe something wrong with BattlEye, but I really don't know at this point sorry
