From what I understand newly acquired artifice armor in lightfall wont have an extra slot but instead extra stat bumps? Is this the case? Im wondering b/c I never got any artifice armor and I feel like I missed out

It will retroactively apply to existing artifice armor also. You get an extra mod slot that fits any +3 stat mod instead of the old mod slot

So old artifice armor will be able to slot the new +3 stat mods and older mods? And new artifice armor will only be able to slot the +3 stat mods?

No both will be the same. They only get the new +3 slot

The mods you used to put into the old slot will now apply passively without putting them into any armor

i see. so it doesnt matter that I didnt grind artifice armor as I can just grind it when lightfall comes out if i want

they’re also making master spire, grasp, and duality drop higher stat artifice armor, so it’s gonna be even better to farm
