Dungeons, Raids, Seasonal focusing. Pit of Heresy is rotator this week and you can farm very good armor from the boss

only issue im having with raid/dungeons is I only got like one friend to play with and we dont really do either, I haven't raided since leviathan which sucks im always too worried because I dont know any of the mechanics

You can usually find people to farm boss in #dungeons , Pit boss especially is quite easy also. For raids you can look for a sherpa #find-a-sherpa, or just watch a video on the mechanics.

As long as you tell the people you haven't done the raid before/dont know the mechanics that well yet and theyre cool with it you shouldnt be worried. You could start with Vault of Glass it's very light on mechanics
