As the title says, I've been maining warlock consistently since launch and wanna make the jump. what will I need to keep in mind in terms of playstyle differences?

Void hunter is super fun (gyr; omni in higher end content / gms) and you're invis a lot; you punch and get health back with assassins cowl + liars handshake builds
Solar is throwing knifes and being the blade barrage bish. Stasis can be great with renewal grasps and duskfield nades (or bakris for pvp), you're like an ice ninja with lots of damage reduction
Ultimately it's a bit more varied imo than warlock and less about nade spam.
But I love both classes for different reasons
Hunter definitely only gets good once you have the right exotic and builds (imo)

Get used to close dodges. They instant recharge melee. And learn to really tap and hold those jumps
